Hong Kong being an hour from Manila has made it a getaway of sorts when one wants a change of (city) scenery. Be it for shopping, time spent with your family, or just a weekend of dining and uninterrupted conversation.
Walking to get to where you’re going is also expected as opposed to taking a car to get everywhere. This in turn leaves room to explore and find interesting sights, scenes and perspectives you’d otherwise be unable to when being shuttled around town.
Like this little art gallery for instance, I would have shot more photos of the other works on display but I felt like I was stealing given the hour these pictures were taken.
Situated in an italian restaurant.
When in doubt, order the specials. They aren’t called that for nothing.

Wine glasses.
I also got a few shirts measured, but since this was a more relaxed trip and I wasn’t really in work mode I wasn’t really looking to shoot “material” as much as taking the scenes in through the camera.
Still half asleep and off to the airport again. One must learn to enjoy their vacation, take it slow and not try to do 101 things and get stressed out. Just because you didn’t instagram it, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.
The calm road home.
