En route to the Forever 21 store upstairs via the catwalk
velvet ropes and the crowd eager to shop
honestly it was overwhelming because of the sheer size, but easily found my way to the men’s section
summer reminiscence
numerous counters to handle the sheer number of people
these posters looked great, you can see them the moment you walk in
lots of seating in the shoe section to try out their latest styles

Forever 21’s Opening at the Mall of Asia was a spectacle as was expected of director Robby Carmona (who was so busy I almost didn’t get a chance to take a photo of him) showcasing the clothes as should be with a great soundtrack for the models to strut to. Surprisingly there was also a kids segment which incited “awws” and how cute/adorable comments from the audience. The stuff for women looked very current and up to date. I liked a few of the pieces for men, which also looked very attune to the current trends of late.
Food and drinks were plentiful, from Jamba Juice to Krispy Kreme to Brownies Unlimited (classic!) I was too busy taking photos and also the show in to fully enjoy the refreshments. The atmosphere was really lively with the hundreds of onlookers on the first and second floor of the venue, magnifying the scale of the event. It struck me as a really big and fun party in the middle of MOA’s atrium.
My shopping was brief as I was rushing to another engagement that night but I’ll definitely have to come back next time to check out the selection again! Thanks F21!
