Morrissey Live in Manila
Seeing the iconic Morrissey perform live in Manila was phenomenal!  He opened up with “How Soon Is Now?” getting everybody out of their seats and sending everyone rushing towards the front of the stage.  No need for seat assignments!  I could hear lyrics being sung by fellow audience members all around me for a good number of songs.  This was really one for the books. Went...

The Axe Anarchy Raid is here!
Imagine playing cops and robbers, but this time with a twist of being chased by a number (a hundred, yes a hundred!) of the Philippine’s sexiest ladies contending for a two million (2M) cash prize!  Axe really pushes the envelope of the predator and prey game, making it arguably the hottest game to hit Manila. A hundred of the hottest ladies, chasing a hundred guys will be held on June...

Coachella 2013 tickets on sale already?!
(screencap just a few minutes ago 18:21hrs) This is unbelievable!  Not even a month has passed since weekend two of Coachella and already they’re selling earlybird tickets!  I haven’t even posted about my weekend experience down in Palm Springs and here they are back with more tempting weekends of awesome music!  I’m surprised, shocked, and excited all at the same time. Maybe...

Make Your Own Havaianas! | 50th Anniversary
Since it was a reasonably leisurely day, I decided to have some merienda with D at Sango in Rockwell.   I have to admit that I’ve missed this quirky japanese burger joint, so much so that I may have over ordered.   Okonomiyaki dog!  Just look at that katsuobushi on top that gives it just the right amount of umami flavor!  I also had a master cheeseburger but I scarfed that down before I...

Canon shoots the Avengers!
On the set of “Marvel’s The Avengers,” McGarvey and his crew used five Canon 5D Mark II cameras and two 7D models. Using multiple cameras limited the need to re-shoot complex action scenes, and the affordability and compact size of the cameras enabled the crew to obtain ample coverage by strategically angling them from various vantage points throughout the set. “The...

PHOSPHOR Watches | Bring On The Bling
My summer timepiece!  Yes, I know it’s a little out of character but I thought I’d mix it up a bit and pick an out of the ordinary piece.  The crystals change up to show the time magnetically (like train station info board things) This soundsystem must have cost a fortune(r)! Get it?  Ha-ha.  Dig the blue, I miss having a candy blue fixie. A few of Phosphor’s selection....

Boracay Weekend, day 1
Decided to spend the labor day weekend in Boracay since I haven’t had the chance to hit the beach this whole summer, and it’s all been chilly weather activity with the recent trips and travels.  ie: Cold-chella 2012.  It was definitely a welcome change, and it’s always great to enjoy the beaches back in our islands.  It’s pretty hard to beat the balmy weather, and powder...

mortality, mystery and feligree
Last Saturday Bea Ledesma and Ria Prieto launched their jewelry line dubbed Narra:  Mysterious and Migratory Jewelry.  The stingray like invite alone intrigued me enough to go.  Coupled with the all too attractive notion of handcrafted artisanaIly created finery, and not to mention the venue and time of the said event (I’ve grown fond of afternoon events lately as they don’t snowball...

Urban Ears Tanto.  These minimalistically and well designed scandinavian headphones feature brushed aluminum accents and a matte painted metal adjustable headband, which go very well with the rubbery like plastic (reminds me of resin) that give the whole package a very quality feel.  Man, I just love any type of audio equipment! great packaging Since these portable headphones are also so...

mazda cx-5
I’ve always been a fan of Mazda’s compact SUV offerings, especially the CX-7 and the more luxury geared CX-9 that senses the slightest hint of precipitation and deals with the situation accordingly, leather seats and a moonroof for when you need to gaze up and thank your lucky stars you’re behind the wheel of such a fine automobile.  But the main reason I dropped by the tent at...

azuthai at salcedo market!
Yesterday morning, I woke up extra early no thanks to a bad case of jetlag.  After exhausting instagram and numerous facebook and twitter refreshes I decided to go and get some sun to try and balance/fix my body clock while getting some nourishment at the same time.  So I decided to troop on over to the Salcedo market with the notion of getting some good pad thai for brunchfast (thanks Divine and...

I just took a look at my closet and realized that I’m starting to have a surplus of denim (dark in particular) I don’t know why exactly, or when I started to hoard acquire these raw, unwashed and not all too comfortable pairs of jeans.  All I know is that I woke up this morning, and had all these pairs staring at me in all their heavy weighted and selvaged...

Marni at H&M | Launching Tomorrow
Parkas, suits, shorts and stripes.  Plus knit ties, and um.. scarves.  I expect that everyone who appreciates the F word (fashion) to be lining up ala apple store campout style, or contacting their buyers to cop the latest collaboration of H&M dubbed “Marni at H&M” Closest stores to the Philippines would be Hong Kong and Singapore.  So there’s the flying out, albeit...

Starring model/actress Imogen Poots, and played out to the tune of Roxy Music’s “Avalon”  This ad/film look like it was taken from an old chest of motion picture treasures. “I was happy to first talk to H&M about this...
